Hey guys,
Not a whole lot new here today, just keeping an eye on the cows as calving is in full swing now, and I think some of the guys may be going out grain cleaning sometime today, not really sure on that one.
This past weekend Dad, Cora and Andrew went up to Minot for the NDGOP convention, leaving Mom and I here at home to keep an eye on the cows. We had a few problems, but the weather was warm, so it wasn't bad...
On Friday, Dad, Cora, Andrew and I went over to Jamestown to go to the ORR consignment auction, and ended up bringing home a 2010 Bobcat S160, and dad bought a grain trailer as well! :)
Other than that, we've just been busy trying to get ready for grain cleaning and planting seasons, so we haven't been too bored here, lol. Anyway, I'll talk to you all later, Jacob B.

A Couple Of Green And Yellow Packages To Arrive Today!
Hey guys,
Last Friday and Saturday Mom, Cora, Andrew and I all went to Jamestown to attend the NDHSA home educators conference. I wasn't all that interested in it, but did manage to have a good time with friends while I was there. You can check out some of my siblings blogs for more info and pictures...
In other news, Mom and Dad have set the date for my graduation! Apparently I'm going to have to give a speech and all that good stuff, so if you want to come get a free meal and a good laugh at a nervous speech giver, you're more than welcome...
On a different note, the air drill that Dad bought should be arriving on the farm today, hence the post title... :P Spring is coming very soon so I guess it would be helpful to have a seed drill to plant with... :P
Anyway, other than that, we haven't really been doing much, calving hasn't started yet but we are getting close, and the guys have been getting their grain cleaners ready to go as well, so the busy season will soon be here...
Anyway, until next time, Jacob B.

Test Complete
Hey guys,
Today has been busy, this morning Dad, Andrew and I loaded the last of the corn on the truck and Dad hauled it to the elevator afterwards. It is so nice to have all of last year's crop moved now! I guess that means it's time to start all over again lol.
After that, I came inside and Mom got me started on finishing up the rest of my test, we had lunch and I just finished up my test now so mom told me to go write a post about it, so here you go Mom. :P
Other than that, we've been busy loading and hauling corn, and we also have been working on some shop projects, one of which was mounting the triples on our 9180 and doing other maintenance on it... :)
Anyway, there really hasn't been a whole lot going on, outside of what I already wrote, so I guess now is where I start wondering about how good I did on my test as I get off. I'll let you all know and talk to you later, Jacob B. :)

Nothing To See Here, Move Along...
Hey guys,
Not a whole lot going on here today, I started taking my 12th grade test here today, but I'm going to finish that up tomorrow as I was getting a bit tired, but yeah, that's what I was up to today, Dad also got another load of corn moved out today as well.
This Monday we are going to be sorting and loading the calves and taking them to town to sell them, so that will be a busy day... Of course, Thursday will more than make up for it though, watching them sell and then getting payed is nice... :D
It got good and warm here last week and it got all muddy so everybody's walking around in their mud boots because the whole yard has turned to slop... -_- Dad had a bit of fun getting the loaded truck out of the yard today because of that...
Anyway, I've been playing WoT a lot when I'm not busy with school or outside working. And that's about all I had to say today, so I guess I will talk to you all later. Have a good week, Jacob B.

It's Snowing. Again.
Hey guys,
Not all that much new here today, Dad is hauling a load of our corn to the elevator, Mom is resting I think, Cora is reading a book, Andrew is out in the shop working on putting his generator engine back together, and I'm writing again...
Yesterday, Dad decided it was time to start hauling our corn to town so Dad, Andrew and I went outside and started loading the truck off the corn pile. We got 2 loads hauled yesterday and got another one loaded, and Dad's taking that one to town right now.
I just heard that our new tractor will be showing up on the farm on Monday, so I'll get some pictures posted of that when it arrives. :) Dad has also been looking at air seeders and I think he's got one bought now. :)
Anyway, other than that, there hasn't been all that much going on around here really, just normal winter stuff. Anyway, it's almost time for lunch so I'm going to have to go.
Jacob B.

Mom's back, time to write...
Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've written to you all again, probably because Mom wasn't home for a while, but I'll try to get you all caught up on what's been happening here on the farm...
In the first week of February, Dad, Mom and Cora took off for Kentucky to visit some friends down there, and were gone for over a week. Andrew and I stayed home to do the chores, and we had a good ol' time when we weren't fixing frozen water pipes.... -_-
On their trip south, Dad stopped in Watertown SD to look at a tractor, and now about a week ago he finally decided to buy it! It's a Case IH 9180 4WD. We bought it to pull a no-till air drill that we're still shopping for... :)
The other day I got the last few odds and ends I needed for my sled and got it fixed and took it out for a ride, so Andrew and Dad and I all went up to the place up the road, but I'll let Andrew tell why... :P
Other than that, we haven't really been doing much, just the normal winter stuff. I've been playing a lot of WoT in my spare time, and have gotten some good tanks now... Anyway, I'll talk to you all later, Jacob B.

Sick :(
Hey guys,
So over the weekend of the 17th-19th, Mom, Cora, Andrew and I all went to family camp at Crystal Springs Baptist Camp again. We all had a pretty good time spent playing games with friends again.
Unfortunately, this resulted in Andrew and I getting sick again, right after getting over a bug, so yeah, I'm sick again. -_- I guess it's kind of unavoidable when you have that many people getting together in 1 place...
Anyway, today Dad took off to Britton SD to look at an air seeder he's thinking about buying, Mom's been resting up and is doing a session soon, Cora's working in the house, Andrew's outside working on his generator for his grain cleaner, and I'm at the school again...
Andrew somehow convinced Dad, Mom and Cora to all get smart phones recently! I'm not exactly sure how he did it, but it is nice being able to text the family now. :) Anyway, I'll talk to you all later, Jacob B. :)
