Hi all,
As I speak, the people from the railroad are taking our rocks! They have one dump truck, and one pay loader here, and they are loading the truck; then taking the rocks down to Kintyre; and just stockpiling them there with another pay loader to load they're machine that goes on the track and distributes the rocks.
Well, Mom is of in Bismarck; Cora is at her CNA training again; Dad and Andrew are outside working on Andrew's grain cleaner; and I thought that I had better do some school today, or else I would be in trouble with Mom. So, the house is quiet, except for the beepers on the railroad's equipment.
Gotta go,
Jacob

Rockpiles Be Gone!!!
Hi all,
As the title says, we are getting rid of all of our rock piles for free!! Here is how it happened. Yesterday, a man from the railroad pulled in, and asked to see Dad. I told him that Dad was down in the quonset, and he went down there.
Later, Dad came in the house very happily, and told me that the railroad wants all of our rock piles! And today, with all of the wind and the rain, the rocks over on the railroad bed over on the lake are washing out, so they need our rocks now!
I will post pictures later,
Jacob

A late post.
Hi guys,
Yes, I know that this is waaaaay late, but I have been so busy out in the shop; helping Grandpa and Grandma move; working on Andrew's cleaner; and so many other things; that school has been postponed (didn't hurt my feelings any ;-) )
So, Dad, Mom, and I just got in from tagging seven calves out in the pasture; and now Mom is resting; and I am writing to you (surprise!). Also, Cora got hired at the Napoleon Care Center, so now she is out at her CNA training, and Andrew is out grain cleaning, so now it is just Dad, Mom, and me here at home.
Gotta go,
Jacob

Hi all,
Cora is playing piano right now, so it is kinda hard to think. Okay, she stopped, so now I can think. ;-) Dad and Mom went into Napoleon right after lunch to sign some papers, but I'll let mom tell you about that later,
Cora gave Mom a brand new piano duet book this morning, so now they will be playing from that a lot I think. Anyway, it's a little cooler outside today, and the wind is a little breeze, but at least we don't have snow, yet! Happy April Fools Day! :-)

I'm home alone
Hi all,
I have been doing a lot of my school in the morning today, so now I just need to write to all of you. :-) Now I will give you a quick overview of what is happening here in Kintyre. To start with, I am working on school, and we were working on Andrew's cleaner before lunch.
Now Andrew is leaving to replace dad at a grain cleaning site, because dad went earlier to a different job, and now he wants to come home. Mom and Cora went to Bismarck this morning, as it is Mom's day at the office, and I am just staying nice and peaceful at home. ;-)

News
Hi all,
This is one of those posts where so much has happened and you don't know what to write about so you don't write about anything in particular. ;-) Anyway, we have been doing some more work on Andrew's grain cleaner; have been helping Grandpa and Grandma get ready to move, and assorted other stuff.
The weather is SO nice now that it actually feels like spring, I mean it is like (let me go check) 63.5 degrees outside now, and all of the snow has pretty much melted off, so now we just wave mud. :-( Mom and Cora went down to Eureka again today to help Grandma pack, Dad went out grain cleaning, Andrew is working on his cleaner, and I'm writing to you, and doing the rest of my schoolwork. ;-)
Gotta go,
Jacob

(Late)Puzzler Answer
Hi everybody,
Yes, I know, this is late, but we had to go down to Eureka on Saturday, and I didn't feel like posting yesterday, so I will do so now. Anyway, here is the question from last Thursday, and the answer to it too. ;-)
RAY: A few weeks ago, Tommy calls me up and tell me that our sister Lucille is sick. He says, "I'll make her some chicken soup if you will deliver it to her." So, after work, I show up at Tommy's house. When I get there, Tommy's pouring chicken soup into a plastic container and mumbling that he can't find the right cover for it.We try one, and it pops off. We put another cover on. It pops off. I tried to put tape on the cover, and the tape won't stick to the plastic. So, I very carefully carry the chicken soup out to my Dodge Colt Vista... TOM: Is this the automotive part of the puzzler?RAY: You bet. I put the soup on the floor. With great trepidation, I pull away from the curb.I realize as I'm driving that my house is between Tommy's house and Lucille's house, and I should stop off at home, see the wife and kids and the hounds, and maybe have supper. So, I stop at home. I have supper. I sit in front of the TV, and I fall asleep watching TV. Hours later, I wake up - TOM: Remembering that our sister is probably knocking at the front door, looking for the chicken soup. RAY: Right. And I go back to sleep. I wake up again at 1:30. I hurriedly grab a few old National Geographic magazines and some fruit that we were going to throw away. I jump in the car and drive to her house, which is several miles from my house-never once concerned that I'm going to spill the soup. And, in fact, I don't spill a drop of it. TOM: But, you were concerned when you left my house. RAY: Right, but why wasn't I concerned this time?
Here is the answer. When he went home, he left the soup in the car. During the time that it took for him to have supper; fall asleep; wake up at 1:30 in the morning; gather the National Geographics and fruit, by the time he got to her house it was probably around 2:00, and by that time, the soup froze, so that it couldn't spill.
Pretty tough, huh?
Gotta go,
Jacob
