Events of the day.

Hi all,
Yesterday, Mom and I went to Bismarck to get my driver's permit renewed; to get our doctor's appointments; and for Mom to do her clients. Dad and Andrew got the rest of the corn combined, and I think Cora went to work in town, but I am not sure.

Right now Mom is with a new client, Dad is off trucking, Cora is working in town again, Andrew is working on his pickup, and I am stuck with the school. (what's new;-) ) This morning Andrew, Cora, and I finished the fence that we had started the other day, so now the cows are enjoying all of the corn stalks.

One of my birthday gifts from Andrew was a very nice wireless keyboard and mouse set, and I am typing with the keyboard now. Anyway, that's about all of the news that I have for you today, so I will go.

Combining Corn.

Hi all,
First, I would like to tell all of my readers that I am now fifteen! Anyway, to the news of today. Andrew and I worked all morning on getting the combine ready to go, and getting a moisture test on some corn. Seeing as the corn was dry enough, Andrew started combining, and I came back to do my school.

As Andrew worked further into the field, he noticed that the corn seemed to be getting wetter. We took anther moisture sample, and this time it was almost too wet, so he went to the other side of the field. This side was planted a week earlier, and then he was good to go.

And then Dad came home, so Andrew made another round, and then Dad came out and took over so that Andrew and I could work on putting up an electric fence around the field, so that we could graze the cows later. It is getting to be chores time here, so I had better go.
