bowling ball cannon

Hi,
I have found a video for you about a bowling ball cannon! Please don't try this at home. I wonder what the ground looks like where it hit. :-) They should try this for structure testing in modern buildings and cars.

Anyway, we have got some fish in our fish tank now, and it is very exciting to watch them, as they are rather wiggly and pretty funny to watch them attack their food as soon as you feed them. I will let Cora expound on the subject, so I will get off of it. We are making good progress on Andrew's grain cleaner, and Dad just bought himself a generator so he can get his going now too, but all in all the cleaners are coming along nicely.

Here is the video! (I suggest muting it, though the guy does say it goes across a river!)

Beware of flying bowling balls! I hope you have a great day.

Shaun White

Hi,
I have found a video for you about the man who won the Olympic half pipe gold medal, and this is not from this year, nor from Olympics at all. I do not know what year this was taken from, but this guy is unbelievable. I will give you what I know about his history, and he has been doing this since he was 2, so don't try this at home. ;-)

I think that his mother died when he was about 2, and his father worked on the ski lift at some snowboard facility, and so instead of hiring a baby sitter, he just bought him a snowboard, and he has been snowboarding ever since, and just look what a LOT of practice can do.

Time to go,
Jacob

BIG shotgun

Today, I found a video about a guy shooting a 13 foot long shotgun. I have posted it here. It is called the punt gun & it is loaded with 2000 grains of black powder, & the guy who shoots it says in a different clip that he uses 70 grains to load his .50 cal. rifle.

I like this video because it shows what can be done when someone puts their mind to doing something. There are more video clips that you can find on YouTube.

BIG R/C!

Hi,
I have found yet another video for you. This time it is about a VERY big R/C (remote controlled) airplane. Now, if you watch the video, you will see that this is no small plane, having 4 engines, retracting landing gear, HUGE wingspan & fuselage length, & taking two people to operate it!

I wouldn't want to crash that thing! If you did, you would be out of a couple thousand bucks.

Time to eat,

Jacob

Max D Again

Hi all,

I know I just posted about this subject, but I found this movie & even though it isn't the best quality, and it isn't in our language, He does a pretty good run.

Now, there is quite a bit of controversy about his save/rollover, but this is the only time I have seen a save like that, & I don't think anybody else could do it.

Bye,

Jacob

Krone? whats that!

Hello,

Today I will tell you about a farm equipment manufacturer from Germany, named Krone. They sell REALLY nice (and may I add REALLY expensive) hay and forage equipment. I would like to share a video with you about their 31' 10" cut, $280,000 self propelled mower. :)

I think that the Krone equipment is the best on the forage market because it is/has:

  • Innovative
  • High output & up time
  • High quality machinery
  • Wide range of equipment to suit all your forage needs
  • Built to last

I hope you enjoy my sales pitch. :) You can visit the Krone website at:http://www.krone-northamerica.com/. While you are there you can watch Krone demo videos like the one above (much better quality); order Krone equipment; hahaha, and read assorted Krone literature.

Well, I gotta go,

Jacob

Max D

Hi all,

I have been watching videos of my favorite monster truck, "Maximum Destruction." I have found a video where the driver gets tired of his old house (they moved first), and so they decided to destruct it the fast way.

I love how much air (jump height) he gets over the house--I just wouldn't want to pick up the rubble. :)

You will probably see a lot more videos on this truck, but I will try to not get so boring.

United Breaks Guitars Song #2

Hello everyone,

This is Jacob's mother and teacher--the same person. :) I have made an assignment for Jacob's schoolwork this year to post on his blog regularly. How regularly depends on if he prefers writing with pencil and paper on a particular day. I have a feeling, though, that there will be a whole lot more blog posts here than there have been in the past. :)

I would urge you to check here regularly and encourage Jacob by leaving short comments. In fact, I would suggest that you make your comments relative to the length of his post! Thanks for your help. My goal in this is to encourage Jacob to consider that communicating his thoughts to others is a skill worth pursuing. In other words, "Writing can be fun." :)

Thanks for your help,

Mrs. Bornemann

Hi all from Snowyville,

I have some big news in relation to my last post! Mr. Carroll has come up with the next song in his "United Breaks Guitars" series. I have posted it below.

I view this song as an all-around good music video.

I will keep you posted when he writes the next song,

Jacob

United Breaks Guitars

Hi again,
If the video in my last post was cut off by the border, just move your mouse over the video and click on the title.
Sorry about that.

United Breaks Guitars

Hi everybody,
The other day, Andrew's friend e-mailed us this video & we all thought that United Airlines
should have had a little more respect for people's property.
Here is Dave Carroll's story behind the song: Full Story: http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story... - In the spring of 2008, Sons of Maxwell were traveling to Nebraska for a one-week tour and my Taylor guitar was witnessed being thrown by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didnt deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss. So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world. United: Song 1 is the first of those songs. United: Song 2 has been written and video production is underway. United: Song 3 is coming. I promise. Follow me at http://twitter.com/DaveCarroll. Video Produced by Curve Productions of Halifax, http://www.curveproductionsinc.com./

United says that they will use this video as training material, & are trying to make up for what has happend.

Hi,
As you might already know, I am a cowboy nut, and I found this tribute to Roy Rogers on you tube, so I thought I would share it with you.

I hope that you liked that :)

On a different note, I saw a monster truck run the other day that was so amazing, I just had to show it to you!
Here it is.

Well, type to you later :)
