busy busy... ;)

Hi guys,
Today, Dad went trucking again; Mom has been making phone calls to people, trying to dig up Ron Paul supporters; Cora has been dong stuff in the house so far; Andrew is listing another one of his cars; and I am getting going on school...

Yesterday, Andrew had listed our old 1985 Chevy Caprice Classic on BisManOnline, and that same night, we got a call from a guy by Bismarck who wanted to buy it, so Dad took it up, and Andrew went with another car for the ride home.;)

On Tuesday, I bought Andrew's iPod Touch, as since he got his tablet, he has hardly turned his iPod on, so now I have an iPod Touch again. :D  I have been having some fun with some of the games on there already too... ;)

My latest extra-curricular activity is building a map for Farming Simulator 2011 that is a copy of our farm! :D  So far, I haven't gotten a whole lot done, just working on a few roads and stuff... When I get closer to done I will post a picture or two;)  Anyway, time to go again.

See you all later, Jacob B ;)

PS: A nice old picture for a change;) RED POWER! :P Don't mean to insult all you greenies by the way. :P :D

PPS: you can click pictures to make them a lot bigger. ;)

reading report.

Hi guys,
Today, Dad went off to haul some grain, after a bit of trouble getting the truck started; Cora went to go babysitting at a daycare; Andrew worked on our neighbor's car (I helped a little too...) Mom has been working around the house; and I have my school to work on...

Today, for my reading assignment, I picked a farming magazine, and I started reading an article about what they think farming will be like in 2021!  So far, we have read that they think that there will be verities of crops that will be drought; frost; and flood resistant! :D

Also, there have been some very interesting demonstrations in automonos farming recently, including a driverless grain cart, driverless corn planter, a system from John Deere that matches a cart's speed to the combines, and a system from Fendt that links 2 tractors together, so that the first 1st has a driver, and he controls the 2nd one as well!

Currently, even though people still have to drive stuff, it could be changing very soon!  Now days, there are GPS guidence systems that well guide your tractor within an inch of accurate!  Anyway, very interesting stuff!  Time to go do chores,
 Jacob B. ;)

Our News...

Hi guys,
Today, Mom is working with a couple of clients; Cora is out doing goat chores; Dad is out doing cow chores; Andrew is messing around with some video stuff; and I'm getting started on my school for the week again.....

Last Friday, Dad; Andrew; and I got the second grain cleaner home, so no more running over 100 miles to go work in a very dusty grain elevator. YAY!! :D  Now we just go about 100 yards to the shop and put them all back together again... ;)

On Thursday, O got my dirt bike fixed up most of the way, and now, I am just waiting for parts to come...  When you kick the engine over now, it has a more distinct wump to it. :P  I think that if my part were here, I would already have driven it. ;)

On Saturday night, Andrew and I got a very nice, and somewhat unexpected, surprise!  It was the very nice gift of $250 to Andrew, and $200 to me, for our work on the grain cleaners.  Thank you Dad and Mom! ;)  Well, time to go again, so I will see you all later.

Jacob B. ;)
